Patty O. Hamilton leverages more than 25 years leading operations teams across multiple industries to share best practices, achievements and lessons learned. Throughout her career Patty facilitated the growth of dozens of managers, effectively influencing hundreds of frontline employees. Her teams achieved recognition and awards for safety, inventory accuracy, productivity and service excellence. Patty is an author, public speaker and leadership coach whose work is devoted to helping new and struggling managers become the authentic leaders they should be.
Managing to Become Leaders is Patty’s debut writing inspired by her self-proclaimed “basket case team” from her hometown. The book is a fictionalized tale of the Cardinal Automotive management team who find humor in an unwelcomed litter of opossums only to realize that the real culprit is the onset of toxic culture. It is fun to read while offering simple, yet effective skills for those on their leadership journey.
